Thyme & Temp Boulevardier

Jeff and I are both enthusiastic home bartenders, and both of us favor classic cocktails of the brown, strong, and stirred variety. The Boulevardier is one of the most recurrent cocktails in our repertoire. It’s like a Negroni, but with whiskey and a bit of proportion play. Hard to resist. We came up with this rift one night as we were experimenting with a bottle of the extraordinary Tempus Fugit Creme de Cacao. Just a touch of this chocolatey goodness pairs wonderfully with the citrus notes in a Boulevardier. It also happens to pair perfectly with chocolate-dipped madeleines. Try this combination next time you have a sweet tooth, I promise it will totally hit the spot!
